  • A reasonable level of fitness with full body control and hand-eye-foot coordination is required
  • Every participant will be required to complete a BridgeClimb Declaration Form prior to the climb. This will be provided on the day of the climb.
  • Climbers 75 years and over can climb with a BridgeClimb Certificate of Fitness form (downloaded from BridgeClimb's website), signed by their GP within the last three months prior to their Climb date.
  • IMPORTANT: Minimum age is 8 years. Children under 15 years must be accompanied by an adult. Maximum 3 children per adult.
  • Minimum height is 4 feet (1.2 meters)
  • If you're under 24 weeks pregnant, you can Climb but will need to provide a BridgeClimb Certificate of Fitness signed by your Doctor within the last three months prior to your Climb date. If you are more than 24 weeks, unfortunately you cannot Climb with us at this time.
  • Alcohol should not be consumed prior to the climb. Every participant will undergo an alcohol breath test and will not be permitted to participate if their blood alcohol concentration reading is 0.05% or higher or if they are under the influence of drugs (legal or illegal)
  • All Adult Climbers will need to bring a valid Photo ID to show our team when checking in for the Climb.
  • Participants should be ready to wear a BridgeSuit over their clothing
  • Please wear suitable closed-toe rubber-sole shoes such as running, sport or hiking shoes, that offer comfort, support and grip. PVC and leather soled shoes are not suitable.
  • Lockers are provided, as loose objects including but not limited to: cameras, video cameras, mobile phones, handbags and any other personal items cannot be taken on the bridge.
  • The experience involves climbing high ladders and catwalks, prolonged stair climbing, uneven surfaces and narrow passage ways and exposure to all weather conditions
  • Failure to be at the check-in point at the specified departure time or to meet any of the above requirements will result in cancellation without refund

IMPORTANT: 75 or over or Pregnant?
• Climbers 75 years and over can climb with a BridgeClimb Certificate of Fitness, signed by their a medical practitioner. This can be downloaded from BridgeClimb's website.
• If you are less than 24 weeks pregnant, you are required to consult a medical practitioner and have a signed BridgeClimb Certificate of Fitness form (downloaded from BridgeClimb's website). If you are over 24 weeks pregnant, you are unable to climb.

Health & Safety Essentials:
• Prior to your Climb when you check-in, you will be asked to complete an online BridgeClimb Health Declaration form.
• You must have a blood-alcohol reading below 0.05 to climb.

What to wear and bring:
• All Adult Climbers will need to bring a valid Photo ID to show our team when checking in for the Climb.
• Wear comfortable, fully enclosed rubber-soled shoes, such as running, sport or hiking shoes and don’t forget your sunglasses (if the sun is shining!).
• We recommend wearing comfortable clothing (eg. sports or activewear) that is weather appropriate, as you may need to wear this under your Climb suit for extra comfort during cold weather. We’ll equip you with everything else you need for your Climb, based on the day's conditions.
• Essential medication like asthma inhalers can be taken up on the Climb by your Climb Leader. Please ensure you advise us when you check-in.
• We provide free secure lockers for you to keep your: phones, cameras, GoPros, handbags, and any other personal belongings.
